چکیده

We present the results of observations of the PSR B1509?58/MSH 15?52 system in X{rays (2 ? 250 keV) by the Rossi X{ray Timing Explorer. The spectra of the peak of the pulsed component (radio phase 0:17 ? 0:53) is t by a power law of photon index 1:360:01, with no evidence of a high energy spectral break seen up to 200 keV. For the oo-pulse spectral component, the spectrum from 2 ? 250 keV is t by a power law of photon index 2:215 0:005. An iron emission line at 6:7 keV with an equivalent width of 129 eV improves the t, but only at a marginal signiicance. Thermal bremsstrahlung and Raymond-Smith models produce much worse ts to the unpulsed data. The lack of a high energy spectral break in the pulsed emission implies an eeciency of 3% in the conversion of pulsar spindown energy to pulsed X{rays in the system.

We present the results of observations of the PSR B1509−58/MSH 15−52 system in X–rays (2 − 250 keV) by the Rossi X–ray Timing Explorer. The spectra of the peak of the pulsed component (radio phase 0.17 − 0.53) is fit by a power law of photon index 1.36 ± 0.01, with no evidence of a high energy spectral break seen up to ∼ 200 keV. For the off-pulse spectral component, the spectrum from 2 − 250 k...

Detection of VHE Gamma Radiation from the Pulsar Wind Nebula MSH 15-52 with H.E.S.S

This work reports on the discovery of HESS J1514−591, a VHE γ-ray source found at the pulsar wind nebula (PWN) MSH 15−52 and its associated pulsar PSR B1509−58. The discovery was made with the High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S.), which currently provides the most sensitive measurement in the energy range of about 0.2–100 TeV. This analysis is the first to include all H.E.S.S. data from o...

Nustar Observations of the Young, Energetic Radio Pulsar Psr B1509–58

We report on Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) hard X-ray observations of the young rotationpowered radio pulsar PSR B1509−59 in the supernova remnant MSH 15−52. We confirm the previously reported curvature in the hard X-ray spectrum, showing that a log parabolic model provides a statistically superior fit to the spectrum compared with the standard power law. The log parabolic mode...

SNR G320.4–01.2 and PSR B1509–58: New radio observations of a complex interacting system

We describe radio continuum and spectral line observations of the source G320.4– 01.2 (MSH 15–52) and the coincident young pulsar B1509–58 made with the Australia Telescope Compact Array. Based on a comparison between X-ray and radio observations, we argue that the two main radio components of G320.4–01.2 are a single supernova remnant (SNR), which H i absorption indicates is at a distance of 5...

Observation of an Extended Vhe Gamma-ray Emission from Msh15−52 with Cangaroo-iii

We have observed the supernova remnant MSH15−52 (G320.4−1.2), which contains the gamma-ray pulsar PSR B1509−58, using the CANGAROO-III imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescope array from April to June in 2006. We detected gamma rays above 810GeV at the 7 sigma level during a total effective exposure of 48.4 hours. We obtained a differential gamma-ray flux at 2.35TeV of (7.9±1.5stat±1.7sys)×10 −1...
